I have not retired from football - Sammy Agyei

Former Black Stars goalkeeper Sammy Adjei is ready to join any local club ahead of the new season insisting he has not retired from football.

The former Maccabi Tel Aviv gloves-man has been on the low for the past three years.

Agyei who helped Ghana to the quarterfinals of the 2002 Africa Cup of Nations is currently without a Club fueling reports he had retired from the game.

The 34-year-old says he is still open to offers ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.

“I have not retired, I am just 34 years and I am still active, I have been training on my own and am available to any Club who want my services,” he told Kasapa FM.

The 2000 CAF Champions League winner was a member of the Black Stars squad at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.
